The new Guitar Hero let you join with people from all over to play along with music videos. So it just made sense to go social—in the form of a crowdsourced music video to play in-game.  We partnered with Ed Sheeran and Musical.ly (now known as Tik Tok) to challenge influencers, fans and celebrities to lip-sync and dance to his new song, “Sing.”

We picked the best fan-created clips, got Shaq and Steph Curry into the mix, then gave it to editor Alan Chimenti (Katy Perry’s “Roar”). The result premiered in the new Guitar Hero, letting gamers play along to a music video starring themselves.
